Vertical Access was hired by Perkins Eastman to solve a number of access challenges created by access systems that were planned for but were later omitted from the building design. By working closely with architects and planners at Perkins Eastman and the General Services Administration (GSA) at the courthouse, VA was able to design a number of alternatives to address the 60 different access challenges identified during the investigation.
The resulting report was anchored by an interactive matrix linked to photos of each access issue, and a narrative discussing the proposed solution alternatives.
